Welcome to my new Website. I have been working on this new format for a while. I made the website myself and now it is set up so that I can edit and update frequently. I would love to hear from you, so send an email and keep in touch.

My newest recording will be released August 10th, 2011. It is called "From The Sound Up" and is my fourth CD on the Steeplechase label. It features mostly original material and some choice compositions from Ornette Coleman and New Orleans drummer James Black. I am very exited about this CD. It was a great session with some of my favorite musicians: Peter Martin -piano, Reuben Rogers-bass, Roman Skakun-vibes and Rodney Green-drums. We recorded it at Knoop studios in New Jersey on a cooold winter day.

"From the Sound Up" will be widely available on the internet and can be purchased from Amazon.com and iTunes.

The record release party for the new CD will be October 9th

I premiered a few of the originals from the new CD at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. It was a fun gig and it was broadcasted live by WWOZ. It was part of the Tenor Sax Shed and featured veteran sax player Charlie Gabriel and myself along with Larry Sieberth, Roland Guerin, Roman Skakun and Shannon Powell in the rhythm section.

I am also working on a new duo project with my friend pianist Richard Johnson.
